Last minute booking Ibiza and Formentera

We have now officially entered the summer season 2014 and, as always, Ibiza and Formentera are recording numbers close to 'sold out'.
Yet, for those who have not booked so far and they are thinking about Balearic Islands as their holyday destination, there is still hope for a solution, maybe even with a last-minute deal for Ibiza or Formentera.
Availabilities at this time of the year are certainly limited, but many renters try sell out to their accommodation by promoting free dates between reservations, often coming out with interesting offers.
We must be clear: the chances to find an apartment/room in Formentera, are proportional to the island dimensions and the smaller number of accomodations available. However, you must not despair: you can still count on the (few) unsold dates or on cancellations, that occur regularly.
The research is less complicated for Ibiza bookings. The island offers more rental opportunities, especially of independent villas and houses, which attract a smaller clientele, and therefore are the last to be 'filled'.
We suggest our clients to look for a less beaten Island area (i.e. the whole Northern part), which obviously offer more available options, avoiding at the same time the August crowd.
Moreover, for those who still do not know Ibiza: with a car you can easily drive around the island far and wide.
You should also act quickly to book your flights to Ibiza: offers and tickets in general tend to run out as the high season gets closer.
