We tell you something about some of the places that made us fall in love with this island of infinite surprises.

1. LAS PUERTAS DEL CIELO
The charm of the place is also derived from its history: in 70s a group of hippies arrived in this magical place through camì des Pla De Corona, a path that runs between woods and almond trees. Here they founded a community which will later be known as Las puertas del cielo or Ses portes del cel (Catalan).
Today you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the landscape, overlooking the islets of Ses Margalides and a charming typical Restaurant open and run for decades by a local family.
One of the best places to watch the sunset in Ibiza.

2. ES BROLL DE BUSCATELL
This beautiful and fertile valley, embodies all the beauty and the magic of inland nature. You can wander on foot or on two wheels, through fields of Mediterranean vegetation which here have grown for hundreds of years almost intact. 
A unique and timeless spot.

3. LA FUENTE DE BALACIA
It is accessed through a path that you can start from the village of San Llorenc.
The font is located in a beautiful green nature plain of algarrobos, almonds, citrus fruits. La fuente de Balafia still remains a symbol of water importance on the island and it is celebrated with folk festivals by the inhabitants of the area.

4. CUEVA DE CAN MARCA'
This cave which is located in the port of San Miguel has perhaps lost some of its old magic, since the name has entered many tourist routes. The bizarre shapes of rock formations, its geological age (100000 years approx) and its old fame of refuge for smugglers, makes it still a fascinating place.

5 .CALA XARRACA
Hoping to please the majority of visitors to Ibiza, we lastly recommend you one of our favourite beach.
Finding a secret beach in Ibiza is rather utopian. Yet this small Cove that has all the features of the most beautiful 'calas' of Ibiza, it never gets too crowded and is mainly visited by local families and fishermen.
4 km from San Joan, zona Portinax. A must-see.
